Admissions

St. George's is the only Catholic Secondary School in Westminster and the Governing Body controls all admission arrangements.

To apply to the school for September admission, please apply through your local authority Pan-London (e-admissions) secondary school admissions website by 31st October in the preceding year. In addition, please return the Supplementary Information Form (SIF) to the Admissions Officer at the school. You are also welcome to contact the school via email on admissions@stgeorgesrc.org

Determined Admission Arrangements Notice 2024-2025

In accordance with Regulation 17 of the School Admissions Regulations 2012, admission arrangements must be formally determined by the responsible admission authority. The Governing Body of St. George’s RC Secondary School have determined the admission arrangements for the academic year of entry 2024-2025. Please note the changes to statutory dates. The governors are proposing to admit 180 children in Year 7 in 2023-2024.

In accordance with Regulation 21 of the Regulations and Section 88 of the SSFA 1998, any person or body who considers that any maintained school or Academy's arrangements are unlawful, or not compliant with the Code or relevant law relating to admissions, can make an objection to the Schools Adjudicator.

Admission Appeals 2024-2025

When decisions on admissions are communicated to parents, unsuccessful applicants may appeal in writing stating the reasons and grounds on which they wish to appeal by Wednesday 27th March 2024.  This date is after the statutory school requirement of allowing 20 school days for receipt of appeals.  Such appeals are to be addressed to the Clerk to the Governing body, c/o St. George's Catholic School, Lanark Road, London W9 1RB.
