St. George’s has an enthusiastic PTA (Parent Teacher Association) and all parents, carers and staff are automatically members.
The objective of the PTA is to: strengthen links between teachers, parents, students and the local community through social activities and raise funds for facilities not normally provided by the Local Authority.
The Association will:
· Foster more extended relationships between the staff, the parents and others associated with the school, and
· Engage in activities that support the school and advance the education of the pupils attending it.
The committee meets monthly to arrange events. Our events have included Christmas and summer fayres, international days, film nights for the students and a parent, teacher and student quiz.
