Duke of Edinburgh 2023

Last weekend our Year 13 Gold DofE Cohort completed their Assessed Gold DofE Expedition up in North Wales. All three teams were fantastic throughout.

They were faced with some very challenging weather, with driving rain and wind at points. Despite this, they remained cheerful, with members of the public commenting on how upbeat teams were despite the weather.

The three groups walked shy of 50km across their 4-day expedition, navigating their way across the route and correcting any navigation errors themselves. All involved did exceptionally well completing their expedition, especially in such trying weather!
