The Imperial War Museum Trip 2023

On the 3rd October, 30 Year 9 students attended a Holocaust learning session at The Imperial
War Museum. Students spent time in the Holocaust galleries and with staff discussing how to
define The Holocaust and how we remember it.

Students were able to develop their understanding of The Holocaust and pre-war Jewish life in
preparation for their History studies in Year 9.

“We went to the imperial museum to learn about WW2 and The Holocaust. We learned about
Jewish migration and peoples experiences of the war.
It’s important we understand this so we can avoid it happening again and so we remember
peoples stories.”
